Entrepreneurship Forum: Hunger Games of the Entrepreneur

To bring together members of the EP community and assist them in identifying their strengths and weaknesses as entrepreneurs through a series of challenges.

Format of Event

9:00 to 9:30 AM – Check-in
9:30 to 10:30 AM– “The Bonfire”. A 30-minute call to action for the teams. The speaker will discuss the purpose and value of building a community of creative thinkers and the importance of the challenges
10:30 to 10:40 AM – “Rules and Regulations”. A speaker, taking on the role of the narrator, will announce logistics and the rules of the event
10:40 to 11:00 AM – “Meet the Pack”. Students will have a chance to grab breakfast and mingle with their challenge teams at their respective team tables
11:00 to 11:30 AM – “The Wisdom Tree”. Students will stay at their respective team tables and meet their assigned team mentor. The mentor will prep the teams for the challenges, share words of wisdom and encouragement, and answer questions
11:30 to 2:00 PM – “Challenges”. Teams will rotate to challenges. The challenges will focus on five main areas: public speaking, marketing, finance, ideation, and teamwork
2:00 to 2:30 PM – “The Crowning”. Each team gets a prize and feedback from the challenges is shared. Team mentors will share what each team did best throughout the day
2:30 to 3:00 PM – “The End”. A conclusion of the day, revisiting the purpose of the event and the significance of skill building and collaboration in building a business
3:00 to 4:00 PM – Lunch and a breakout networking session
